Met Police Officer FAILS to Protect Partner - Shocking Video
Ex-Met Officer Breaks Down Why This Viral Video Is a HUGE Red Flag for London Policing.
Here at ESN Report, our team—composed of former emergency services and armed forces personnel—scans hundreds of police, ambulance, fire, and search-and-rescue social media feeds daily. We dig into these posts to find stories that resonate with both our civilian readers and those who’ve walked the walk-in emergency services. (We’d include Derbyshire Police too, but hey, we’re not on Instagram.)
It’s rare that we come across footage of officers in the Metropolitan Police that makes us think, “What on earth is that officer doing?” But the video below? Unfortunately, it’s one of those moments.
The footage captures an encounter that is hard to watch: a large female suspect attacking a female officer—grabbing her by the hair—before turning on the male officer, hitting him in the head twice, and eventually running off without either officer chasing after her. Despite a crowd of bystanders, no one steps in to help. No surprises there; after all, this is modern-day London.
The incident left us asking some tough questions, particularly about the male officer’s response (or lack thereof).
