Police Officer Seriously Assaulted in Leeds – Suspect Remanded in Custody
A police officer in Leeds has suffered serious facial injuries following a violent attack, with a suspect now facing charges of grievous bodily harm with intent.
The incident occurred on Friday, 31 January, at an address in Beeston. Officers responded to the scene, where one officer sustained significant injuries during the course of their duty.
Luke Lockwood, 20, of Rington Road, Beeston, was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the assault. He appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 February, where he was remanded in custody pending his next hearing at Leeds Crown Court.
