Once again out of touch and moronic Senior Officers calling judgement on matters that are beyond their ken. The local HMI should immediately call for the decision to be over turned and the officer compensated for stress and mental injury.
Disgusting that a brave officer was dismissed , and this should be overturned with Compensation
(which will not repair damage done to him)
We need more respect for our Police Forces - bring back the "old fashioned" public belief that if a Police Officer "ncks" you, you should be thoroughly ashamed and learn good behaviour.
Once again we see judgement passed by a Senior Officer that would probably run a mile if in the same situation. So wrong and an example of why this Country is in the lawless state it’s in. I’m surprised the youth wasn’t given compensation for his hurt feelings by this pathetic panel.
I wonder if the ACC has ever faced an angry man or disarmed someone carrying a bladed weapon? Or is she one of those DEI hires, cosseted and promoted to office-based posts, where 'theoretical policing' is practiced, protected for years from the reality of street policing?
Her comments smack of someone with an eye on a Chief Constable's post somewhere.
God help those she 'commands' - she won't have their backs.

Again - pure out of touch Wokeism.

Wishful thinking?
