It’s unbelievable how badly Dorset Police have handled this situation!

If probationers complain about ‘real world’ incidents, should they actually be in the Police?

Wait a minute "refusing to do stop and search training or 'Angry Man' training?" Is that true? I do not see how that is compatible with staying employed.

The world has gone crazy.

What would happen if they were in an I.T. job & they refused to use pen & paper??????

There is no difference between that & what trainee constables are refusing to do.

Quite simply if they cannot complete all aspects of training successfully they should be shown the door.

Where do Police recruiting officers get these people.

Unbelievable that two probationers, with less than seven months experience between them could be taken seriously when making a complaint of this nature. This added to the fact that the complaint was not only not dealt with by the promotion chasing Inspector but passed to PSD shows how far standards have dropped.

What do these two probationers expect - are they prepared for the harsh reality of Police work, as for the Inspector- if true that he did pass this on rather than deal with it himself then what a perfect example of someone not suitable to hold a Supervisory Rank, let alone to be suitable for promotion.

Pc castle sounds like a police officer, that any good officer would love to serve with, can the home secretary sack the person who dismissed pc castle, and reinstate PC castle and dismiss the probationer who stood and watched and made the complaint against pc castle
